First day at work..

Yes.. yes... i'm finally workin.. my first job ever.. kinda embarrasing to say i got my first payin job at d age of 19(i'm not 20 yet!).. well u hv to start somewhere don cha.. jz tat i started a lil late.. well better late than never!
So wat's my first job u ask? many hv asked me but i don really kno how to ans.. it's somethin like workin as a secretariat.. 4 where u ask?1 clue.. wit all kinds of flags n banners around.. yea it's 4 election.. i'm actually workin in d MCA bilik gerakan in kuala lukut.. main part of my job? checkin d voters status 4 them on9.. so i hv a computer to myself d whole time here 4 me to on9! yeah! it's a vy good news since streamyx connection is like crap at home now!
So i arrived here at my work place which basically is a small warung at 845am.. supposed to start work at 9.. but first day, first impression.. let it be good.. so arrived here.. waited wit hock(yes i'm workin wit him) 4 abt 15 mins only we saw mr wong comin.. he's kinda in charge.. mca secretary here in kg kuala lukut.. d place wasn't wat i had expected.. but it was alrite as every1 here treated us real nicely.. keep askin r we hungry? thirsty? any problems n stuffs.. make it seem like we're here not act to work! hahahaah.. n we're gettin paid all at d same time! although not much but at least we're earning somethin rather than sittin at home earning nothing rite? but tis job is kinda boring wit a capital B.. seriously.. workin hours is 9am-6pm.. my main job is to take down ppl's ic, check status on9 abt where they're gonna vote, write on a piece of paper then say 'thank u!'.. tat's all.. n my station here not many ppl come around.. 1st day itself i think not more than 20.. so imagine 9 whole hours jz to check 20 ppl's status! is tat boring or wat?
So 4 d past 9 hours all i did was throw sheep at ppl, toilet paper ppl, sucker punch ppl, throw cake at ppl, throw simon at ppl, hug ppl, give growing gifts to ppl(must show some love as well), etc etc etc.. yea.. facebook-ing d whole time.. tat's y ppl keep gettin sheeps n cows from me.. hahahaha.. besides tat i'll blog since streamyx is real bad these days.. my work seem so simple doesn't it? get paid 4 it somemore.. food provided.. hahahaha.. but to sit here 4 9 hours alone(only work wit hock on d 1st day) can be quite torturing.. but thankgoodness time flies pass(except 4 d first day)... then thankgoodness there's internet here.. if not i'll die of boredom!!
When it was time to leave i was ecstatic! finally off from work.. now i understand y ppl says studyin is better than workin! hahahaha.. but as usual la.. m'sians.. sure come late again.. but traffic jam(yes in pd) as they were tarring d roads.. election comin of course they're tarring roads now.. so late again back home.. when i saw my house it's like such a relief.. can feel d comforts of home straight.. i was act bumped out.. so had some snacks.. then dinner(n i said i was on diet.. takpe takpe).. as usual la.. tired tired oso menggatal.. not tat kinda menggatal la! is terasa nak main tennis pula! hahahaha.. body all penat, letih d but semangat go play tennis.. cos pa coaching ma.. but it was so relaxing after playin.. endorphins releasing.. hahaha.. partnered pa n trashed d 2 young boys.. hahahaha.. of cos la.. since i'm partnering pa dear.. mandi, balik, tidur.. no la.. not such a good girl.. so balik went on9.. streamyx starts acting up again.. dcc.. wat d heck.. give up then went n sleep.. manatau jie called.. so nak chat wit her la.. tried n tried.. tried n tried.. but dunno y cannot.. finally got d connection.. but cant log onto ym! wait la.. wait 4 connection to get better.. all of a sudden.. pitch black! computer go blank.. fans off-ed.. lites off-ed.. n i was stuck alone downstairs! karleen cool.. chill chill.. it'll be alrite.. i tot trip.. looked out d window.. all dark.. power failure! haiyoyo.. so somehow i pushed, bumped, knocked my way upstairs la.. luckily d chair wasn't my best fren like my sis.. if not i'll be all bruised once i reach upstairs..
so went up nak tidur la.. i'm fine wit it bein hot at first.. then it was too much of heat to bear.. to make things worse.. i've got company.. not tat 'company'.. but it's tat darn mosquito/oes.. it was so frustrating! here i m tryin so hard to tidur.. then theycome kacau.. tension woo.. so i tossed n turn.. scratched n scratched..but it was gettin too itchy to bear.. i was so sleepy yet it was so torturin to sleep.. vy teruk.. a real real bad experience.. at last.. i dunno how i did it.. but i did it.. i fell asleep! yea! d next thing i knew.. i was awake at 1pm in d afternoon.. wakakakaka.. electricity finally came.. water runnin smoothly(no water supply in d morning).. but as usual la.. stupid streamyx acting up again.. kinda frustrating but wat to do.. jz bear wit it i guess.. tat's all 4 now.. back to work.. till next post.. karleen out!

CNY 2008

So much to say so lil' time.. tis is wat i get 4 abandonin my blog 4 such a long time.. hahahaah.. so let's cut tis crap n go straight to d point..
day be4 cny
exciting, exciting, exciting! I remembered sooo lookin forward to cny! of cos la after all d cleanin, n scrubbin n brushin n wiping n baking! oooh.. mummy's cookies r so delicious! they seriously r.. jz ask ppl who tasted it be4.. so as usual family reunion dinner.. but be4 tat kena bully.. hv to scrub d floor of carpark outside d house! somemore gram's new house is huge! jie went jln2 wit pa while chiang playin ps2.. kesian me n cuzzy chui ling.. kena called koperal both bein instructed by sarjan(my dear uncle lawrence).. haih.. hahahaha.. but 4 cny.. it's all worth it.. so went to sleep after d stroke of midnite wit a smile plastered on my face..
day 1
chu yi! so wat did i do today.. got waken up by my dear cuzzy mei ling(my god she wont stop until u wake up!).. went 4 breakie be4 headin to d showers n gettin dressed in my brand new clothes.. so i had on my jeans from max(it is so longgar.. can pull it down anytime!) n a top also from max bought by my lovely jie jie in battuta mall.. she has an exact same 1 in pink (cheryl's influence).. then off wit a clear mission.. ang pao! so nicely went 1 by 1 wishin happy chinese new year! gong hei fatt choi! tradition for 1st day of cny we hv to be vegetarian 4 half day.. but as 4 gramma she has to be vegetarian 4 a whole day.. i've always loved my aunt's salty vegetable dish(do u call tat vege by tat name?).. anyway my aunt's cookin is fantastic! it's soooo good.. no wonder everytime after goin back mantin sure put on weight.. haih~ so usual activities.. eat, sleep, play basketball(family tradition) , watch tv wit all family members n of cos gambling.. i got to play mahjong tis year.. imagine i din even kno how to play last time.. but din gamble.. cos dunno how to count.. so it's call "clean mahjong"..

day 2
day 2 is usually d busiest n noisiest day of cny.. oh yea.. d chong family r crazzy n vy expressive ppl.. jz look at me u'll kno la.. so all my far, far far n oso far far far cuz will come visiting.. of cos my vy sportin aunt will come back on tis day too.. so add d happiness.. it's vy vy fun on 2nd day.. but d amount of kids runnin around! it'll kinda make u think 'i'm nv gonna hv kids.. ever!'.. i kno my sis will crack readin me writin tis as i adore kids.. but it's true.. they r so hyper! u hv them together they can be so unmanageable! pening pening.. but gettin to meet so many relatives all interacting in 1 house is always such a nice feeling.. we practically only meet each other once a year! d kids suddenly shoot up so much! as 4 d other 'older' wans.. most remains d same but gettin more n more pretty n handsome(ehem!).. hahahaha.. it's d truth.. chong family ppl all pretty n handsome.. perasan perasan.. sure jie agree wit me.. hahahahah.. diam diam la.. after 1 long day wit so much talkin, talkin n more talkin.. oh yea we oso ate so much on tat day.. every1 was sssooo tired but still played till d wee hours in d mornin.. i 'gambled' wit my cuzzy daniel tat nite.. bet was who lost he/she gets a dare.. it was hilarious! he still owes me 2 dares.. oh by the way.. he's not a small kid.. he's 2 years older than me! imagine him doin d frog jump! hahahaha.. i'll nv forget tat! hahahaha..

day 3
chu san.. so we weren't expectin any guest on tis day.. at least i wasn't.. jie woke up so late tat day.. but i was waken up tis time not by my cuzzy mei ling.. but by my mum.. mei ling was still sound asleep beside me! hahahahah.. it was weird.. so got up had breakie din even bother to shower started cleanin d house.. while wiping d glass doors (there were so many glass doors n windows) suddenly came a car to d porch.. i was thinkin mayb 1 of d guest of d dato havin openin house up d hill.. manatau is my grandma's sis! terkejut saya! wat to call oso tak tau.. so took d safe way out.. call aunty, uncle.. hahahaha.. since jie was still sleepin had to help out la.. get d food ready la.. take chairs la.. get bowls n spoons ready la.. i was d eldest after my sis.. girls la.. so had to tolong la.. then as i was walkin towards d old house, overheard a conversation.. sakit hati! story's like tis.. pa was talkin to 1 of d aunties la.. so d aunty started askin.. u hv another pretty daughter rite? then pa went like 'oh d elder wan? she's still upstairs.' sakit hati! ahahahaha.. but it's d truth anyway.. hmmmm =( but it's ok.. not d 1st time anyway.. hahahaha.. i kno i'm an over-optimistic person.. hahahahha.. it's a good thing u kno... but i was laughin myself as well so it's ok.. hahahaha... then we took photos be4 they head off.. had lunch, laze around d house.. at nite comes another tradition of d family.. yee sang! we had 2 packets.. imagine tat time every1 was watchin initial d while eatin yee sang... great family moments.. somemore lepas gas here, lepas gas there.. then c ur cuzzy leapin up n say 'who farted? vy smelly la!'.. vy funny.. hahahaha.. don blame me.. i got d habit from jie! kentut bersepah.. hahahahah.. she was doin d same thing.. be4 tat we had a basketball game too.. as half d court was used we used d other half.. imagine 12 ppl crampin in half court! hahahaha.. but it was sssoo much fun! 7 against 5.. d guys were on a team.. d girls wit pa, mark n daniel was on our team.. of cos we need to even it up.. every1 was sweatin n panting n runnin up n down.. but yet havin a blast! we forgotten all abt d score n jz kept playin.. no competition wat so eva.. it was jz.. fun!

day 4
balik rumah! thank god we do not stay in kl.. if not we'll be caught in d jam 4 hours! it was pretty smooth drive from mantin back to pee dee.. even in s'ban it was smooth unlike day be4 cny.. my uncles n aunties who went to taipin got stuck in d jam 4 sooo long! they went n when they reach back mantin it was already 1 in d mornin! d jam was tat bad! tat's becos school starts d next day.. well 4 me tis day was d day i went house visitin wit my frens.. went ken keat n hock's house.. first time i step foot into hock's house.. more ang pao's! hahahaha.. stitch came visitin as well.. so nice to kacau him after not c-ing him 4 abt a year now.. he's hilarious! i've not met a person who can blab so much! n i tot i talked non-stop.. oh he talks NON-stop.. hahahahaha.. but he's so fun to talk to.. lemboo~ hahahaha.. we had seafood 4 dinner tat day.. it was delicious..

day 5
mummy had off.. so mummy, jie n i headed off to do some shoppin in kl.. jie havin not drive to kl for such a long time din kno which exit to take to go to 1U.. it was between midvalley, pyramid or 1U.. so after takin an exit.. we ended up bein kinda far from 1U, kinda near to pyramid.. jie was like 'shit! i wanna go jusco la.. 1U got pyramid don hv.. how ah?'.. mana tau next thing u kno saw d sign tat says 'now opens! jusco available in pyramid!' hahahaha.. so pyramid here we come! i was act vy happy as i've not been to pyramid 4 a LONG time.. n i was real curious abt d new wing.. when we entered d parkin we were surprised to c d lite system they hv there.. exactly like al-wahda mall in auh.. hahahaha.. so shopped there.. bought mostly jie's stuffs as she wanted to bring it back wit her later.. din wanna shop a lot as i've spent enuf of her money in auh.. it was fun havin tis girl's day out.. all in pyramid is vy nice but u can get lost in d car park! hahahaha.. even in d new wing of d mall.. but like wat i say.. u can get lost anywhere but nv in a mall.. hahahaha.. since i love shoppin so much! hahahahaha..

day 6,7 n 8
so tis 3 days me n jie headed of to kl again! hahahahaha.. tis time stayed over n went to so many places in kl.. we went berjaya times square(1st time on d rides), pavillion(first time there since it opened), the curve(also a 1st), sunway lagoon(i was dyin to go d other day) n 1U(d place we were supposed to visit on shoppin day).. hahahahaha.. we went 4 d rides in berjaya times square.. last time i could only look but ridin it was fun! i would not recommend d wat-dizzy ride.. it's fun at first but later it gets so boring! cos it's d same movement over n over again! then we played d vy high hingy(i'm so bad wit names!).. tat was fun lookin down from so high up.. hahahaha.. but not 4 those afraid of heights.. then we sat d roller coaster n d bumper car.. of all d rides d roller coaster was d most fun of all.. it looks scary from outside.. but it was not while riding it.. believe me! u're hearin tis from a person who can get car sick when she was younger n even sometimes now.. bad man! after rides is off to pavillion 4 lunch.. we had madam kwan's.. d service was good.. d food was good.. but all in d company was good tat made it all good.. although i wasn't tat =) d other day but after tat i was =)).. hehehehe.. shopped a lil in pavillion be4 headin 2 starbucks 4 a drink then headin back to shower.. dinner we had a fantastic steamboat at bangsar shoppin centre.. it's been ages since i last had steamboat.. hahahaha.. so it was fun... then off to coffee beans 4 a drink then balik tidur.. zzz~
next day woke up early but jie tidur macam =@).. hahahaha.. so we headed off for brunch in the curve.. ah tuan ee's.. i had pie tie 4 d first time n fell absolutely in love wit it! it's so nice! after lunch it was sunway lagoon.. it has been really so long since i last came here! i was here when i was 6 last time.. wit my best fren rebecca tan i remembered.. i so hope i can meet her back now.. back to d story.. so went in n went straight towards d dry themepark.. or so they call it but act mostly will get wet oso wan! hahahahha.. but it was so much fun there.. went on all rides possible.. minus d top gun(d wan where they go 360 degree), n d sailing ship.. both too scary.. hahahaha.. but one of d water rides in d dry park was awesome! d wan where we went 3 of us.. tat was fun! i relly loved tat.. then d wan where u go wit d board.. he was so funny goin up like a small boy wit a smile plastered on his face while headin towards d playground.. hahahaha.. he liked tat ride so much! hahahaha.. so me n jie oso join la.. somemore can ask small kids to join in wit us.. hahahaha.. after d rides we headed to wave pool.. jie started la wit d synchronise swimmin thingy.. i joined.. be4 we kno it.. d ppl beside us were oso tryin to do! hahahaha.. it was hilarious! off to d showers be4 headin out 4 dinner at bernard's.. i saw a rat lingerin around d dining area.. jie was so scared when she heard abt it tat she practically jumped on her chair.. we asked d waiter.. he said 'oh d boss bought it 4 good luck. in fact there r 4 of them.. year of d rat u kno..' me n jie was like wat????? hahahaha.. rat? in a restaurant? thankfully it was small.. we played pool after d table was empty.. i was so karat d! hahahah.. not tat i was any good last time.. hahahaha.. but it was vy nice to get to play again.. gonna whoop their asses next time i play wit them.. hahahhaa.. jz a thought..
next day yet again jie woke up late.. not only her la act.. i was so bored i was dancing around d house.. n they din even noticed.. then i went back to bed again.. hahahaha.. later we headed to 1U to do some shoppin 4 mummy's bd n 4 papa.. we had sushi 4 lunch.. but not at sushi king as it was too far.. hahaha.. we were in a hurry.. bought d present.. did some grocery shoppin then headed back home.. after tat slept like a pig till d next day..

day 8
15th of feb.. mi's bd! so we had bak kut teh 4 lunch in lukut since it's been so long since we had it.. then after mummy returned home from work we celebrated her bd 4 her.. be4 tat me n jie went out to buy d necessary stuffs she needs to go back.. so buy a cake too.. tis time it's blue berry cake.. nice 4 a change... so after celebratin n stuffs it's off to d airport.. jie had to balik tat day.. =( jz talkin abt it i miss her d.. hmmm..

day 9-14
although still cny but i m so bored at home! suddenly no activities sure la bored.. so anyway took tis time to play tennis, swim, play ping pong, even learn some yoga n dance steps! hahahaha.. i even took my dad's book to read.. jack canfield's 'how to get from where u r to where u wanna be'.. it'll be helpful in d future n now's a vy good time to read tis book.. i even took tis time to read up on all scholarships available as well as universities.. as well as persuadin mummy n daddy 4 somethin tat i really want now.. n i managed to persuade them! yeah! hahahaha.. let's c wat happens.. but i was already excited after they said ok.. so let it be kept mum first.. c how it goes.. keepin my fingers crossed.. so excited!

day 15
final day of cny.. oh shud we call it chap goh mei.. school day as usual but we still went back to mantin 4 family dinner.. d rose in front of d house bloomed so beautifully! so went back in d afternoon, had a wonderful dinner again prepared by aunt together with grandma n grandaunt.. they even made yam cake 4 us.. it was so nice.. so anyway after dinner we tapao balik somemore.. so more delicious food for us n there goes my diet.. hmmm~ happens everytime durin cny.. but i really had a gr8 time tis year durin cny.. later i'll post a pic of house deco of my house by my sis.. it's beautiful.. i helped i helped.. hahahaha.. till the next post! phew~

Feeling Down

Neva have i been tis down.. as if a knife had struck rite thru d heart.. or mayb even bein ran over by a bullet train.. but yet i'm still pretty much alive feeling all d pain n agony.. damn it la! damn it.. y do i hv to wake up so early n.. oh forget it.. damn it la!

All bumped out!

Tis few days so bz cleanin up d house.. one room after another.. but it's all worth it.. of cos la.. chinese new year ma.. best of all.. jie's comin back.. yeah! i said tat so many million times d i shud be fined 4 it.. sorry.. cant contain my excitement..

So today was jz a typical saturday.. oh yea.. 'typical' is more like it.. since i came back m'sia, i tell u i love d food in m'sia more n more(cakap saje diet.. haih~).. act once u go overseas u really feel so proud bein a m'sian.. no kiddin.. so anyway ytd i helped my mom prepare ingredients to make cookies today.. imagine can prepare from 1030 to abt 3 in d mornin! crazy.. oh yea it was.. somemore becos i miss goin out breakie wit parents so much.. had to climb out of bed by 8 oso la.. serious siao d.. had delicious tosai n roti canai.. 2 types???? no la.. i shared wit my mom.. stickin to d diet.. kind of.. wakakakaka... wat d heck la.. so after breakie menggatal pula.. go play tennis at 0945 till abt 1115.. 1st time playin back here since comin back from abu dhabi.. told cha i was bz cleanin d house.. i tell u i pancit habis2.. so malula.. played wit my dad d whole time.. but i felt like so out of breathe.. oh god help! playin here n there diff.. here u sweat in buckets.. there once u break a sweat, a gush of wind comes.. then is bubbye sweet.. haiyo.. at least i got to play wit my new shoes today! hahahahaha.. nonsense..

Balik d.. did my fav thing.. one of my fav thing la.. baking! hahahaha.. more of makin cookies.. it's fun! but tat's after all d washin of clothes, washin up n stuff la.. tell u la.. baking is no game u kno.. it can be tiring.. of cos la.. sit there ny.. tiring le.. but d results was fantastic.. mummy's famous pineapple tarts! yummy! next time i'll show d pics.. u c it u'll want it.. i guarantee.. hahahaha.. it was delicious.. heaven! hahahaha.. jie wud be so happy..

Baking lasted till abt 4pm(c how long it took!).. then it's off to club 4 ping pong monthly(pa convener ma to hv to join).. dunno y so sui.. everytime my opponent sure gone missing.. 2 times in a row d le! but then d uncle was so nice to play a game wit me.. it was fun.. close.. but i won!(vy kiasu la.. but who wouldn't be happy if they won?).. then it's off to d gym to do some runnin be4 headin down to d pool 4 a swim.. after not swimmin 4 so long(last was a dip in lulu island).. now my arms hurt bad.. so lembik d la.. help! but swim oso play play la.. do few laps then over n done in jz 30 mins.. off to showers n dinner..

Tot can go pasar malam tonite.. mesti jugak hujan! haih.. nvm la.. next month.. definitely will make a trip.. i miss pasar mlm.. till then.. it's time to ko.. oh my soft soft bed.. bubbye.. zzzz.. =)
