Just got to know something I've been speculating for a long, long time.. Din think it would happen.. But it did.. Dunno how to explain tis feeling.. Actually it has nothin to do with me.. But somehow felt like I was used through out the whole process.. N I just got to kno abt it now after so long.. Oh well at least they told me.. I kno I shouldn't feel like tis.. But I need sometime to absorb this.. Sorry I cant be that understandin as you 2 presume me to be.. you cant expect me to be jumping with joy congratulating u both.. I wont be a human being like tat.. Give me sometime n i'll be fine.. love ya both.. But i just need sometime.. muacks!

See! I told ya I was featured up on a magazine cover! Not bad not bad~ Hahahaha.. All thanks to Shun Hao. I think he picked this pic cos can c car more. If my face ny aiyoyo! Hahahaha.. This really spurred an interest in me to c how will it look like if I really was featured on a cover.

Emotional year

Today was supposed to be a happy happy day down kl and all. Don get me wrong, I did enjoy a lot on my trip to kl. Sounds silly or some says childish, I love petrosains!! It was so much fun.
U must be wondering now wat's up wit the title. truth is, I cant help but wonder is this year suppose to be the year of disasters? Year of losing ur loved ones? Year of sadness n despair? u must be wondering even more now, y so gloomy? truth be told, jz look at d chronological of these events.
First there was the early departure of Tian Leng, a fren I've got to kno a long, long time, since I was vy young as we were in the same swimmin squad. He left us late last year. Although I was not particularly close to him in whateva way, he was such a sweet guy, always with a smile. He was neva arrogant, jz lovable. How can such a guy go so early? I always wonder.. Missin him loads though. Still cant believe he's actually gone...
So at fisrt I tot okie, that's jz pure coincidence. It cant be tat tis year's a jinx or anythin. Plus tat happened like late last year. Although it happened 6 months ago, I still really cant imagine him really gone. So I just pushed that as far away from my mind as possible. But the next thing u kno, funerals come funerals keep happening. As if we r destined to lose some1 we love tis year no matter wat! My frens loved ones, named it grandparents, parents, siblings seems to be leaving us one by one. Call me superstitious, but I really dunno how to explain this...
Like today for example, I told ya at the beginning I was having a blast at the trip to kl. Next thing i kno I received a message saying my frens bro has passed away, accident. He was the pillion rider of a motorbike driven by his fren which knocked onto a car. He suffered some head injuries resulting from his helmet being flung off after he was thrown off the bike. My fren cried till her eyes were swollem red, and there were no tears left. I cant help but feel sad. That was her one and only brother. There is only 2 of them in the family plus their parents. It just so devastating. To make matters worse, she just lost her beloved grandma a few months ago. I cant help but feel so sorry for her. What I can do now is pray for her to stay strong and always be there for her. That's wat fren's are for..
Okie mayb it's just pure coincidence that Deaths are happening domestically here. Now let's look from an international point of view. Call it fate, call it coincidence. Just look at the disaster that happened recently in Myanmar and China. I cant imagine ever having to go thru wat they are goin thru now. Take China for example, this was the year of glory, happiness fro them as they are abt to host the Olympic games for the first time! Before the earthquake that crushed homes of hundreds of thousands or if not millions of ppl, let's just take a look at the torch relay that happened world wide recently. What's with all the fuss and controversy surrounding the torch relay? why cant it just start and end smoothly with ppl all over the world celebrating? Damn! Now it's as if those ppl who has been rallying, protesting got their wishes. China is facing a crisis, and it's a huge if not enormous one! I cant help but feel so down over this.. hmmmm..
Next comes Myanmar. Cyclone. When I got the news I was like wat? How can it be? And Myanmar is like our neighbour. They are just so near!! Worst part of all, Myanmar is refusing aid workers! How can we as citizens of the world help? I suddenly feel so helpless now.Writing this blog makes me realise something. Life is so short, we really must live everyday to the fullest! With no regrets what so ever as we might just leave one day without any signs. Losing your loved ones is so painful. L:ooking back at my fren, I cant imagine ever losing either one of my family members. My parents and siblings. I cant even imagine. I'd be crushed! I just cant and don wanna imagine them not being here anymore! I love them too much to ever let them leave me! How abt you? Can u? I'll leave it here for you guys to think it thru.. Happy Mother's Day!!

I know it was mother's day like 3 days ago, but i just din have time to write this on my blog. Soh~wee.. Anyway, celebrated for mummy dear who's ever so pretty.
Told cha mummy is ever-so-pretty. Tat's y ppl always says Eileen, my jie la looks like my mom. Cos both oso cantik. What happened to the sis la? Cantik in a weird weird way. Must jugak self-praise. Enuf enuf! If not I wont stop. Haven't you heard self-praise is the art of grace? (quoted from Chong Eileen herself!) So now I guess I know where i learn tis habit from lo huh. Hehehehe.. Must pull sis in oso.

Back to Mummy's day. Well this year decided to do something special. Back to basic. I haven't do tis for a long long time. Want a peek?

Get the idea? Yes.. What we always did back in primary school. Mother's day card! We always did that during art class back in primary school where you'll draw loads n loads of love shape, then a portrait of your mummy inside the love, writing as big as possible "Mummy, I love U" etc etc. Then whenever ur mummy receive it, it's like receiving pots of gold, so happy. Hehehehe.. So to bring back that kinda atmosphere, spent sometime making a card of my own. Let's c...

So after thinking it through, since i dah kerja, don la so kedekut@giam siap(i forgotten d freaking english word!) with my vitamin m then decided to belanja dinner la for whole family. (jie ah jie... come back i belanja u la) Finally decided to go Yue Shun in PD where the service is fast, food is tasty, price is reliable. Hehehehe.. I've got no connection what so ever with Yue Shun. Don get me wrong here. While waiting for food, what else can we do? Camwhore!!

Like I said, service is fast. There were so many customers yet our food came like after just 10 mins! That's fast! Patutlah not many camwhoring pics. So here's what he had that day..

There were only 4 of us, but we like ordered food for 6 ppl! After makan felt like gonna bao zha anytime! Not a nice feeling I tell u! Suffered. Plus I would keep off the scales for a few days if not will go like OMG! pengsan~ Hahahahaha.. Mayb I'm doin that without even before having had that dinner. Haih~

Mummy received a message on that day describing mothers as flower. Lilies, Roses etc. Well for me personally I don think flowers r good for describing mothers. Cos flowers maybe lovely to look at once they flower. But later they will layu and die within a short span of time! That does not describe mummy at all! Cos a mother's love forever. And the love and support they give are simply priceless~ You can always count on ur mummy to support u, guide u, love u no matter what u do, who u wanna be, who u turn out to be, who u will be. They r just such important figures in our lives that I myself could not imagine if I don have my mother around me while growing up as well as now.

I remembered how much I talked back(loudly) at my mummy. And how much I always thought mummy liked Chiang if not jie better. I always felt left out and just hated getting close to mummy. Now it has changed so much! I love my mummy! And I feel so shameful having done what I did last time! Now she's my hero, my idol!

Music Festival@Pesta Music

Since no music from rave party, let's hear a different kinda music. No more head banging, no latin dancing, dirty dancing, ballroom dancing, hip hop etc. Some may call it soothing; Some may say it's irritating; Some says it's 30-40 ppl screaming n shouting together... Get the hint? Yea... Choir la!

Okie, okie. I'm not insulting choir and all. Oh no! I love choir. If not I wouldn't have busted my ass working so hard for 3 years for choir(sound like some big sacrifice pula). But despite all bumps and bruises(just a metaphor), I had a really gr8 time the whole 3 years I was involved with choir. Well friends did play a part being there and all of us working together. awww~ such sweet memories.... I think all choir members would agree with me.

Okie okie. Enuf. Making it sound like so long long long time ago pula. Just 5 years(OMG! it has been 5 years already???) ago only k? Hehehehe. So much have changed since last time. No more broken pianos where the low key couln't be played(I do miss that piano though). No more training in the freakishly hot hall of the school(U'll be soaking wet after every single practice. But hey! Free work out!). No more angry seniors who yell at u, scream at u, whack u up side down(ok a lil exaggerating here) whenever u make the slightest mistake that make the whole team having to repeat over n over again the same song. Wow I'm really making it sound like a boot camp. Actually I'm one of them who screams n shout(no surprises there.. Hahahaha..). No la. Being a conductor it's my responsibility to lead the team I guess. So don blame me la!(U can put the blame on me, say u can put the blame on me. U can put the blame on me, say u can put the blame on me-Akon)

Sure you asking me y so few choir members now. Well to answer that, it's becos now the no of singers have been pulled down to 35 a team. No more 40 a team. Smaller better! The one and only chinese boy in the choir team so u can guess d la how they treasure him. Chasing him here n there. Haiyoyo~ Hahaahaha.. He's a relatively handsome guy from Sg Pelek(patut la pelik sikit) who just love suddenly using his high voice(imagine fake Andrea Borchelli) belting out a song. They r a crazy crazy bunch!! Despite all that they managed to pull of tis performance back on 3rd May 2008..


And they emerged as champion!(Applause applause!!) Oh yea! Don forget the cikgu! Urs truly~ Hehehehe.. Okie la enuf of self complimenting. Time to mandi and makan. Till the next post!
