day numero uno!

day no 1 in abu dhabi... jz been here abt 35 hours but i've visited abu dhabi mall twice imagine tat. hahahaha.. not tat there's no other places to go to.. but then cos abu dhabi mall is jz walkn distance from jie's apartment.. how nice rite havin a mall so near to ur living place.. n it's quite big u kno! jz imagine jusco s'ban wit 3 floors n abt twice d size.. hhahahaha.. so it's real nice...
after havin my 8 hours of beauty sleep after tat 7 gruelling hours of flyin, we woke up abt 11, showered n headed to abu dhabi mall to makan brunch.. so jie brought me to d food court first la.. make me experience how's d food court like there.. act la. d food court there like serve al oso fast food ny wan.. u can find kfc, mc d's, subway at d cafeteria. which is weird if u stay in m'sia.. hahaha.. so when i was there i was really spoilt 4 choices.. there was oso chinese stall, japanese stall, mexican stall, lebanese stall... wa mixed culture.. of cos la.. cos here in abu dhabi act consist of 20% emiratis, n d remainin 80% r foreigners workin there.. n here's like 2nd philipines.. so many of them here! acc to ed(my jie's fren) there's abt 300,000 philipinos here... wow! hahahaha.. i'm jz as surprised as u r now. so back to food court.. i had big chicken pieces meal as my first meal in abu dhabi.. it's nice oh! it's lke they give 4 pieces of grilled chicken wit a bread(i still dunno wat's tat bread called.. tat bad huh).. it was nice.. like kenny rogers lke tat cos grilled chicken ma... so after makan jie brought me around jln2 in abu dhabi mall la.. everythin looks vy expensive there.. n all malls r like tis in abu dhabi.. don think tis place is all desert! oh no! tat's a so wrong... it's even more modern than kl i must say.. n so well planned.. n so clean! 4 real... all r sky scrapers here in d town.. n d houses r super huge man! if not they will stay in apartments... so it's vy luxurious here... okok back to main topic.. so jln to find jie's quilt first la.. enter d furniture shop there. think ikea but it's not ikea.. it's called PAN home lifestyle... d furnitures there r so nice man.. it really fits 4 a royal... if u c it, u'll believe it.. then off to d co-op.. as in d supermarket.. jie did her grocery shoppin.. she really like auntie d la... hahahaha... c her shop like c-ing mummy shop.. she knos her way around.. like said la.. she now become one of those ppl who gila grocery shoppin d.. hahaha.. she cant bear to look into anempty fridge. hahahaha... so after tat balik apartment...
after shoppin all tot wanna play squash. but ended up playin tennis... hahahaha... so met up wit jie's philipino frens. there's ed, lindi, primu n cj(ed's son... same age as me.. buff n handsome.. play's basketball.. ok too much info).. i'm not sure abt spellin of their names.. hahahaha.. so go play la.. playin here is so so so so diff compared to m'sia.. in m'sia if u were to play at 330 u'll be burnt when u finish.. but here bein it's winter it's breezy n cold.. u don sweat... hahahaha.. i played 4 n a half sets ytd but i din sweat.. ok i did after puttin on my sweater.. but tat's ntg compared to playin back in m'sia.. hahaha... n tis was really d 1st time i played so much in a day.. as in leisure play.. met so many new ppl.. but bein chong karleen la.. sure lupa nama.. hahahahaha.. teruk.. we started playin around 4 finished around 8.. tennis fanatic huh! hahahaha..
after showerin all me n jie headed to abu dhabi mall again 4 dinner.. to celebrateher bd.. i wanted to belanja her but then not yet change money... haih.. tried d pizza there.. had in cafe mocca by d way.. it was jz nice to sit back, relax n chat wit ie.. so long since i last did tat. hahahaha...after dinner me n jie went to buy cakes... her bd ma.. so first c in cafe mocca.. tak mau.. then cinnabon.. closed.. fresto.. nah... then starbucks.. promisin.. tried mark's n bean.. closed... so buy in starbucks oso la.. d most expensive cake i've ever eaten! 15 dirham equivalent to rm 15 in m'sia! not 1 cake u kno.. jz 1 slice.. n i tot secret recipe was expensive... balik we celebrate 4 jie at 12 midnite.. since we din wanna damage d cake we ended up using 23 decorative candles instead... hahahaha... symbolic ma... hahahaha.. we bought tiramisu n choc fudge cake.. it was delicious! somemore say wanna diet! diet chong eileen's style la... hahahaha... have cake at midnite, cheese in every meal.. haih... so we 2 sat bac, ate cakes n watched bring it on again on tv... it was fun but i was bumped out from havin such hectic day. so tido...
i slept 4 12 hours straight.. hahaha.. lazy bump... tat was how tired i was. after waking up, washin up me n jie headed off to marina mall wit uncle aznul. hahahaha.. i hope i got his name correct.. i'm nv good in names.. act jz aznul la.. we had breakfast cum lunch cum tea cum dinner there... hahahaha. first time i had only 1 meal in 1 day... hahahaha.. we went i really 4gotten d name le... n marina mall la.. haih.. i'm bad man.. had burger there.. tat oso i forgotten wat burger.. d servin portion here is HUGE! can makan 2 person la... but it was delicious.. n d marina mall is oso big n beautiful... think midvalley... crazy abt shoppin centres huh! it's like shoppin heaven here la.. jz tat it's too pricey... haih.. all d way to marina mall d view is breathtaking... i saw corniche beach.. it's really beautiful.. n d buildings r oso nice... it's not wu lu at all.. n it's left hand's drive here, all roads 4 lanes. n d road's r straight all d way! hahahahaha. it's really not all desert like wat most ppl think.. n so clean.. definitely a nice place to stay.. cars r big here... so easy to spot volkswagens, porsches, bmw, hummers, merce.... gila kaya la ppl here! there's oso kia, toyota, nissan n all here la.. so it's big cars la... freakin rich!
ok i think i've blabbed enuf... no wonder teacher says i hv vrbal diarhoea.. hahahahaha.. till then la.. now i jz enjoy myself alone here la since jie went off to work.. yea on her bd! hahahhaha.. but it's all good... hahahaha.. so till d next time...

ok let's set things straight here now shall we.. yes t's d first time i'm flyin overseas.. yes it's d first time i'm in a total foreign country wit all kinds of arabic words written everywhere.. yes i now m soundin a lil bit wu lu.. but wat d heck? i'm so damn excited n i feel so blessed..
yesterday was a bit of blur to me now. so bz bz n bz.. imagina la d day be4 slept at almost 4 then wake up at 9 jz to hv breakie wit ken keat.. gla wan.. so wen wake up tat time was like haiyo lemme sleep 4 another 5, 10 or 30 mins la! tapi sebagai kawan yg baik i bangun juga.. cannot la break promise rite. d ajak nicely d.. then we gi sek.. like dai ga jie like tat. jln in my territory.. was my territory anyway.. hahaha.. it was fun la. met up wit a lot of prefects.. n my mei mei oso jz be4 i left 4 abu dhabi la.. go there macam buat hal saje. kacau sini kacau sana.. haha.. then had lunch outside.. somethin like farewell lunch lke tat la. then balik..
my flight ws scheduled at 855.. it jz ht me tat i was flyin off when i passed d international flight gate.. i'm like.. it's happenin! it's really really happenin! haha. macam budak kecik in my playground.. soexcited.. comin on board was fun.. although 7 hours of sittin in d plane was not so fun n seriously sit until buntut sakit, kaki sakit, n whole body macam sengeted... but i did enjoy myself.. d entertainment there made everythin much better,, i watched disney series(i kno la childish but they're nice ok?) then csi, then frens, then ugly betty, then style her famous then movies lk hairspray(i was really curious wat was d fuzz all abt tis movie.. it's a bit gila2 musical.. john trovolta looked scary..).. then i watched transformers half way... definitely d best movie of 07... it was awesome but cud not finish watching it.. haih... but pernah watched d twice so it was nice.. i watched so many shows macam whole day flight instead of 7 hours flight... on flight i tried tomato juice. ewww.. sorry jie irealy din lke it.. diff ppl dif taste i guess.. then i had d chicken meal.. it was quite nice. d bun ther was oso nice.. then had kit kat as refreshments be4 landin.. wa makan so banyak somemore say wanna lose weight oh! cham lo cham lo.. hahahaha.. but jz wanted to try d food ma. hahaha.. i'll be more strict wit myself on food here d la.. hahahaha..
reachin ali baba land i was so excited! although they had jz vy slight turbulence but as usual la me. sure pening kepala wan.. i can kiss my hope of bein a cabin crew bubbye d la.. after is me need to use oxygen mask n d flight attendance come n serve me.. hahahaha.. so tak boleh la.. i was so hopin to get to climb stairs down a plane nstead of goin thru d aerowalk or somethin like tat.. ppl wanna do d other way round me pula wanna get out into d freezin cold atmosphere.. hahahaha.. act only 17 degree celcius la.. still ok.. but then la.. so ngam la... got space to park at d aerowalk place.. haih. shattered my hopes.. but it's all good... me n jie arrived safely.. hahahaha... havin jie accompany me was fantastic.. she's jz so nice.. i'm so lucky.. i kno.. hahaha..
when reach jie's apartment it was BEAUTIFUL.. here lke they buka shoe shop.. u shud c d amount of shoes man.. hahahah... then her whole house is decorated so nicely.. so warm but yet so.. so.. i cant think of an adjective la.. hahahaha.. it's jz cozy, n welcomin n nice.. her room oso.. her cupboard is so besar.. if only i hv tis cupboard at home.. on rechin we so tired wash up n oi oi lo.. then tidur untl now only bangun la.. hahahaha... jie pull my blanket away at times le! hahahaha.. n i tot i was d only 1 havin tat habit..
today is a whole new adventure awaitin me la.. so excited... cant wait! hahahaha.. today gonna do some sight c-ing n go play squash! hahahaha... tat's all now la. as 4 photos le jie not yet save in pc.. so later la... hahahah.. till then it's bubbye.. it's so nice here! so exciting!

on last fri.. i visited glad tidings church in pd 4 d 1st time 4 their christmas party.. although reluctant at first but pegi saje la.. tengok sendiri how it was.. i really enjoyed their sketch.. it seriously touched me.. thank goodness i din burst out in tears.. hahaha.. all in it was a nice experience.. somethin new to me.. met a few old frens as well as made some new frens there..

Malacca trip..

i still remember d time ken keat ask me to go 4 tis trip.. i was like wat? free of charge??? hahaha.. then i remembered sayin if d others go, i'll go.. then he asked who's d others??? i'm puzzled myself too...
anyway i still agreed on goin.. slowly pull in d others like pj, soh yee, shu na, lu yee n all la... haih but tat fellow tak jadi pull.. let's keep tat a secret shall we.. hahahha.. not ready to share it out yet.. mayb when i've gotten over wit him.. not! ok ok.. where were we.. oh yea pullin ppl in.. in d end most of them din go oso.. but despite tat we had ssooo much fun! we laughed, we sang(out of tunes at times.. cos all voices were oh so sexy), we screamed(at d top of our lungs i might add) n we jz danced n had a blast jz enjoyin each others company.. it was really a trip to remember... thank goodness tat teacher din follow.. if not i'll be dead.. hahaha... who's d teacher u ask? ask d ppl who went on d last trip they'll tell ya.. ok ok.. let's not get into tat.. she's ok la.. jz tat.. haih... fuhget abt it!
back to main story.. so we set off from school at abt 9.. thanks to yau fei we were late.. hahaha.. not blamin d guy la.. he forgotten his permission letter.. his poor sis had to go back all d way to sg nipah to get it 4 him.. as 4 me.. lagi teruk.. entered d bus.. tot wanna take pic la.. open d slider of d camera.. nothin wan! then feel like camera a lil lighter than before.. so check n check n check.. finally la.. where d heck is d batt la? think think THINK... haiyo.. chong karleen u real sotong la.. left it in d charger case at home.. wat to do now? no worries.. papa to d rescue.. tat's wat i love abt pa... he's always there no matter how bz he is.. awww... n he din scold me although i myself felt i really was oh so careless.. how come? how come? haih... ok ok.. enuf drama there now.. d bus had to wait 4 me.. not 4 long la.. mayb 1 or 2 mins.. paise paise... so then off we go to MALACCA, d historical city!
first stop was dataran pahlawan... it's been too long since i last went to malacca.. serious too long.. there's tis new shoppin complex called.. wat was it.. somethin dataran pahlawan la.. later got pics i'll show ya.. it was nice la.. somethin new.. jz 2 floors.. but up stairs like dead ny.. d decorations there were pretty i would say.. there's 1 pic i took it was beautiful... u'll c.. but sadly din hv much time to shop.. cos bz takin photos here n there.. hehehehe.. we went out to take pics instead.. tat time there were 11 of us.. but we kept splittin up.. hahahaha.. ken keat la angry at me.. jz becos ejek him d other day.. let's not get into tat if not he marah again i die.. vy sam fu wan.. we walked around there so much tat we din hv chance to walk round mahkota parade.. oh well.. mayb next time.. so here's a few pics we took.. 4 now..

ok enuf of pics.. so after lunch n all.. we head down to alor gajah.. another 1 hours drive i think.. but then i slept thru.. hahahaha.. teruk.. so on reachin a famosa we were greeted by ppl there.. we had our telematch.. wat it is? imagine games u played on sports day when u were in primary school.. heck it was fun! at first we hesitated a lil.. then we really got into it n jz enjoyed.. (p/s: shu na makes a great orang utan.. hahahaha).. at first my team was trailin.. but in d end we really worked well as a team.. thank goodness we din emerge last.. hahahaha.. then it was off to d condo.. eh tis condo's name bukan main canggih.. beverly hills condo.. hahahaha.. it really isn't tat bad.. we hv 3 rooms per apartment.. n only 6 of us per apartment.. so diff from genting huh? but sadcase.. so far from one another.. not separated by floors.. but by towers.. hahahaha.. d teachers all vy scared somethin will happen between d guys n d gals.. typical la.. as we were waitin to check in.. we saw 4 guys waitin 4 d a famosa bus.. then as usual la.. shu na kacau them habis2.. tak boleh tahan oh.. like nv seen guys be4 we all.. scream here n there.. hehhehehehe.. but it was fun.. hahahaha.. so after settling down, washin up, we went out 4 dinner at cowboy town.. dinner? bleh... not nice at all.. sorry a famosa.. tat's d truth.. it really wasn't nice at all.. it was not up to standard i guess.. then we walked around.. i patted a real tiger! it was so cool... but i couldn't help but feel sorry 4 it.. his eyes were jz so sad.. then we went 4 d red indian show n animal parade.. it was awesome.. we seriously acted like a bunch of wild children gainin freedom.. we danced.. we sang.. we screamed.. n shouted.. hv ppl give us d ugly eye.. oh well who cares! we're jz havin fun.. hahahaha.. kesian d lady beside us.. d show wasn't particularly nice.. but we syok sendiri more like it.. hahahaha.. at one time they asked ppl from d audience to come down n danced.. imagine miss soo asked us to go down.. hahahaha.. so we went n jz danced.. ppl from d audience also came down n joined us... it was fun.. hahahaha... dance like org gila.. d show ended wit d most amazing firework display.. it was so beautiful.. truly... then we cramped our way thru d audience.. towards d 4D theatre... we were thinkin.. na.. tis won be tat fun.. but it really is scary.. we oso screamed at parts tat were not scary.. hahahaha.. pn wang who sat beside me din even screamed! i screamed 4 her.. hahahaha.. it was really chun although not tat scary.. but u shud definitely try it if u hadn't tried it... then we were off to d bus.. back to condo to rest...

next day was focused mainly on animal safari.. my first time here so everythin is interestin.. i've developed a fear of elephant(they were so close wit their noses! it still haunts me)... i've developed a love 4 birds(they're jz such beautiful animals).. n monkeys too! i fell absolutely in love wit 1 black monkey.. don get me wrong.. he was jz so cute(ugly but adorable)... photo is wit yau fei though... d monkey even held onto me.. i really liked tat monkey although it sounds funny when u say it.. hahahaha.. we went to d elephant show.. took a walk at d chicken farm(there's more chickens out there than u think!).. then a stroll around d animal farm(rabbits, pony, camel, sheep.. all can be seen here)... then off to other shows.. multi animal show.. bird show n cow boy show(tis was boring)... it really opened my eyes comin here.. talked to daphne d eagle trainer.. she was real nice.. real sweet.. we found out tat hornbills r vy emotional birds.. u separate d lovers.. they'd kill themselves! 4 real! d parrots r oso so cute.. n to train a bird takes a real long time n patience.. salute to the workers there! after d shows n lunch..(shu na's fav line :"chicken rice not nice to eat!".. hahahah)... after all d excitement it's finally time to head home... slept all d way.. a gurl needs her sleep!
so there.. my malacca trip.. it had been fun! eye opening definitely.. but i'll really miss my frens most.. love u guys so much... take care during d hols!
